Plain version: this is published information about state rules, not advice about you, and your state has the final word.
What you are reading
MyServerCard describes published state and local rules about alcohol server credentials, together with the source each description came from and the date it was read. It is general information for people who work in food and beverage service.
What it is not
It is not legal advice and not advice about your specific job or employer. We are not a government agency and we do not issue, grant or renew any card, permit or certificate. Nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind.
Your state agency, your local licensing authority and your employer have the final word on what you need. Before you pay for a course, open the source we link and confirm it yourself.
Accuracy and change
Rules change, sometimes with little notice. We date every requirement precisely so you can see how fresh it is, and we correct what we find wrong. Even so, we cannot promise that a rule has not changed since we last read it, which is exactly why the source link is there.
Other sites and trademarks
Links to agencies and course providers are provided for your convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for them. Program, agency and provider names are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify what is being described. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Liability
This site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information found here. Given what this site is, the practical remedy for an error is that we fix it: see the editorial policy.
Content
The writing and the way the data is organized belong to MyServerCard. The underlying rules are public information and belong to nobody. Quote us with attribution and a link, and include the date shown with the claim: the date is part of the fact.
